Alkalizing Juice Recipe

Lemon, Lime, Cranberry, Aloe:
A Great Alkalizing Drink

Here is a great recipe for a refreshing cleansing and alkalizing juice that you can drink first thing in the morning, between meals, and/or before bed.

For One Quart of Juice:
  • 1 fresh organic lemon
  • 1 fresh organic lime
  • 1/4 cup "Just Cranberry" Juice ("Just Cranberry" has no sweeteners or any other juice added)
  • 1/4 cup organic whole leaf Aloe Vera Juice
  • Good quality drinking water (filtered or Kangen)
  • Stevia (liquid or powder; a natural sweetener from the South American plant Stevia rebaudiana)
Squeeze the juice of a lemon and/or a lime into a quart jar, include as much of the pulp as possible, and if you have a juicer, simple cut the rind off, leaving the white skin and put through the juicer. Add cranberry juice, aloe vera juice and water. Then add Stevia to taste.

Variations:
  • Lemonade: lemon juice, water and stevia
  • Limeade: lime juice, water and stevia
  • Cranberryade: Just Cranberry juice, water and stevia
  • Cranberry Lemonade: lemon juice, Just Cranberry juice, water and stevia
  • Cranberry Limeade: lime juice, Just Cranberry juice, water and stevia
  • Same thing with Aloe Vera Juice... experiment and explore your taste buds!

Visit your local health food store for the proper ingredients. Stevia is sold as a supplement. Stevia is not an artificial sweetener nor is it a sugar. Stevia is a natural plant and a protein. It comes in liquid drops, white powder, and whole leaf green powder (Stevia rebaudiana). If you've never tried stevia before, use it sparingly at first because it is super concentrated; a little goes a long way! For powdered Stevia, buy only "pure" stevia with nothing added or with only inulin added.
